PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently calibrate many A/D converters and D/A converters in a short time by a digital method. SOLUTION: An A/D converter 1 converting an analog signal into a digital signal is digitally calibrated by sequentially giving two different analog signals to the A/D converter 1, calculating an offset correction value and a gain correction coefficient on the basis of the two digital signals after the conversion and correcting a digital signal outputted from the A/D converter 1 on the basis of the offset correction value and the gain correction coefficient. A D/A converter converting a digital signal into an analog signal is digitally calibrated by sequentially giving two different digital signals to the D/A converter, calculating an offset correction value and a gain correction coefficient on the basis of the two analog signals after the conversion and correcting a digital signal given to the D/A converter on the basis of the offset correction value and the gain correction coefficient.
