PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk case shutter opening/closing mechanism for a disk device, capable of facilitating the verification of assembling work and a mechanism operation and achieving a compact device. SOLUTION: In a disk device constructed in such a manner that a disk case 1 housing a disk 2 is loaded with the shutter 1a set as a front side, a shutter opening/closing arm 3 is rotatably provided in a mechanism chassis 5, and the shutter opening/closing arm 3 is pressed in the direction of closing the shutter 1a by a circular-arc torsion spring 4 hung between the shutter opening/ closing arm 3 and a stopper 5a provided in the mechanism chassis.
