PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device capable of suppressing the discontinuity of frame data to be stored which is generated at the time of re-synchronizing to an external synchronizing signal read out from the optical disk after the synchronized state made by the internal synchronizing signal of the time when the synchronizing signal is omitted due to the scratch, etc., of the optical disk. SOLUTION: A decision circuit is provided for deciding whether the external synchronizing signal exists in the first half side or the latter half side of the period of an internal supplemental synchronizing signal when the 1st synchronizing signal is detected from the read-out signal in the operating state such that the data in the amount of one frame synchronized to the internal supplemental synchronizing signal and demodulated are stored in a memory. When the existence in the first half side is decided according to the decision result of this decision circuit, the data in the amount of one frame demodulated to the stored position of the frame data directly preceding in the memory are stored.
