PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display many kinds of information in accordance with traffic jams. SOLUTION: A traffic information displaying system which displays traffic information on a traffic information displaying board 4 is provided with a measuring means 2 which measures the running speeds of vehicles near the installed location of the board 4 and a display control means 3 which sets the number of cyclically displaying times of the traffic information on the board 4 in accordance with the speeds of the vehicles measured by the means 2. Thus, when a traffic jam occurs near the board 4, various information is cyclically displayed on the board 4.
