Indazole derivatives as 5-HT3 and 5-HT4 serotoninergic receptor antagonists useful for preventing and treating e.g. intestinal disorders, nausea or central nervous system disorders

Indazole derivatives (I) and (II), useful as 5-HT3 and 5-HT4 serotoninergic receptor antagonists, are new. The new compounds are of formulae (I) and (II), their N-oxides and acid addition salts, are new. R1 = H, halo, 1-4C alkoxy, methyl, OH or NH2; one of R2 and R3 = -(CH2)2-OH, or -CH2-C(O)OH, and the other is H; or R2 + R3 = together form -CH2-CH(OH)- or -CH(OH)-CH2-; X = -O-, -NH-, or -N-(1-4C alkyl)-; A = a group of formulae (i) or (ii); Y = N or CH; R4 = H, 1-4C alkyl or benzyl n, m = 0 or 1; R5, R6 = H, 1-4C alkyl, phenyl or benzyl. An Independent claim is also included for the preparation of (I) or (II).
