PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-hydrogen storage battery restricting a cycle deterioration even at high temperature. SOLUTION: This nickel-hydrogen storage battery comprises a negative electrode containing a hydrogen storage alloy electrically storing/releasing hydrogen, a positive electrode containing a nickel hydroxide as a main active material and an alkaline electrolyte mainly composed of a potassium hydroxide aqueous solution, where the positive electrode includes a cobalt compound and yttrium compound and 100 ppm or more lithium with respect to the weight of the above-mentioned nickel hydroxide, cobalt compound and yttrium compound is included in the positive electrode. |
