PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system capable of executing settlement processing by a card inputted from a radio terminal and having high reliability and application efficiency. SOLUTION: The settlement system is provided with a proxy center 3 connected to a settlement center 1 through a wired line 2 and the center 3 accesses a radio terminal 40, records and manages a settlement request received from the terminal 40 in a data base 37 and executes the settlement processing of the received settlement request together with the center 1. Since the center 3 is connected to the center 1 through the wired line 2, no operation miss or secret leakage occurs. Since reliability is secured by executing the ciphering of data, the inquiry of a received result, etc., through radio communication between the center 3 and the terminal 40, the reliability of the whole system can be guaranteed. |
