PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and also accurately issue a total sum report by allowing each terminal to execute an intra-self-machine adjustment job on condition that the terminal discriminates that accumulated self-machine transaction data in the self-machine coincides with relevant accumulated transaction data in a host machine. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 and a ROM 12 add up self-machine transaction data related to merchandise registration (account processing) to the previous self- machine transaction data. The CPU 11 and the ROM 12 inquire relevant accumulated data stored in an accumulated transaction data in each terminal file from a host machine 20 in performing self-machine adjustment. The CPU 11 and the ROM 12 compare the relevant accumulated transaction data transmitted from the machine 20 side in response to the inquiry with accumulated self- machine transaction data stored in the accumulated self-machine transaction data file and discriminate whether or not the both coincide with each other. The CPU 11 and the ROM 12 allow an intra-self-machine adjustment job to be carried out on condition that the both are discriminated as coincidental. |
