LIGHTING SYSTEM AND WARNING LIGHT ON RUNWAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desired light distribution by arranging an array of light emitting diodes of a light emitting diode module and providing a light emitting diode control plate for reflecting light of the light emitting diodes and a lighting control means for flashing the module. SOLUTION: A lighting portion has at least two light emitting diode modules 1 where a plurality of light emitting diodes 1b are substantially circularly mounted to a substrate with substantially quadrangular outline. The light emitting diodes 1b are inserted into through holes 2a in a light emitting diode control plate 2 which are formed according to an array of the light emitting diodes 1b. The control plate 2 arranges the array of the light emitting diodes 1b and can reflect the light. Even light emitting diodes 1b with high directivity can provide wide light distribution due to a reflecting action of the control plate 2, and the control plate 2 can accurately position the light emitting diodes 1b. A lighting control means alternately flashes at least two modules. A lighting system and a warning light on a runway that easily provide a desired light distribution can be provided.
