PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device to which the detector, of a fuel holding amount, capable of measuring a level at the inside of a container instantaneously and precisely even when the container is placed in a horizontal or tilted state is attached, in which the detector is combined with the running distance meter of a vehicle and which displays a precise fuel consumption by a method wherein, when the level of the container is detected, the mounting position of the detector is designated to be in a specific place. SOLUTION: A detector 2 which detects the level of a fuel is attached to the center point (the volume center-of-gravity point) of the volume measurement of a fuel container 1 in which the level of the fuel is to be measured. On the basis of the level detected by the detector, the volume of the fuel inside the fuel container is calculated. The detector is combined with a running distance meter 3. A fuel consumption (i.e., a running distance divided by a fuel consumption amount) in an arbitrary running operation or per running section is calculated by a computing part 4. A calculated result is displayed on a display part 5 near the fuel container together with the holding amount and the change amount of the fuel inside the fuel container. |
