PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of a joint part by protecting the joint part likely to generate cracking or slipping off (drop of the air-tightness) against a severe mechanical, electrical, or thermal shock to be applied to the joint part when the current is shut off or the like. SOLUTION: A vacuum valve to make and break the current by opening and closing the contacts in a vacuum vessel is composed of end plates, electrodes, switches, current feed shaft, bellows, bellow cover, shield, insulating cylinder, etc., and a joining layer for connection of these component parts is formed in a complex structure where Cu-based educts are educed in an Ag-based matrix in a high degree of dispersion, and therein for example, the electrical and mechanical external forces transmitted to the joint region are absorbed by interaction of the two, and initiation or propagation of cracks are hindered and the complex structure is turned in finer particulates. This allows avoiding generation of cracks in the joining part or its slipping off (drop of the air- tightness) caused by severe mechanical, electrical, or thermal shock applied to the joining part when a large current is shut off or the like.
