PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device where a temperate picture recorded on a recording medium is used to modify an original picture received from a medium other than the recording medium. SOLUTION: A system controller 101 uses a read section 103 to read a template picture for modifying an original picture from a memory card 200 contained in a card slot 102 and allows an interface section 106 to transfer the original picture received from an external input terminal 105 into a printer. An image generating section 108 composites the template picture with the original picture and a print picture generating section 113 generates a print picture from the picture composited by the image generating section 108.
