PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify circuit configuration by miniaturizing a transformer. SOLUTION: The primary side of a transformer T is connected between a linearity correction coil LN and an S-shaped correction capacitor Cs, and a capacitor Cf is provided on the secondary side. When a horizontal frequency is lowered and auxiliary S-shaped correction capacitors Cs1 and Cs2 are successively additionally connected to the primary side of the transformer T, a horizontal deflection current Id is branched and a primary side current Id1 of the transformer T is decreased. The transformer T gradually increases the primary side inductance according to the decrease of the primary side current Id1 and can generate a correction voltage Vfh of an almost fixed parabolic waveform at both the terminals of the capacitor Cf on the secondary side.
