PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a resistor by filling resistor paste into a press in a sheet substrate, forming the resistor by burning the paste in air, a neutral atmosphere, or a reducing atmosphere, and forming an electrode electrically connected to the resistor. SOLUTION: In a method of producing a resistor, resistor paste is filled into a recess in a sheet substrate so as to level with the upper surface of the sheet substrate, and then is dried to form a resistor 3. For preparing the resistor paste, a glass having a softening point of 530 deg.C is added to copper-nickel alloy powder, and then the mixture is mixed with an organic composition. After electrode paste is printed and dried on the upper surface of the substrate 1 so as to be electrically connected to the resistor 3, it is burned in a nitrogen atmosphere to form a terminal electrode 4. For preparing the electrode paste, a glass is added to copper powder, and then the mixture is mixed with an organic composition. After the resistance between the terminal electrode s 4 is adjusted, the resistor 3 is covered with a resin layer. |
