PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of canceling the short-circuiting of a short-circuit terminal without using a disconnection rib. SOLUTION: A slider 40 installed in a male housing 20 is allowed to move backward when two housings 10, 20 are properly fitted to each other and the locked state is canceled of a lock nail 31 of a lock arm 30 on a lock surface 48. By installing a short-circuit terminal 60 integrally with the slider 40, the short-circuit terminal 60 can be moved from a short-circuit position where a contact part 64 makes contact with male-side terminal fitting 26 to short- circuit the male-side terminal fittings 26 to a disconnection position where the contact part 64 makes no contact with the male-side terminal fittings 26.
