PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a heater for releasing a trap by deciding an allowable input power of a heater, applying a predetermined input power for releasing a magnetic flux to the heater, and reducing the allowable power applied to the heater to a smaller value than a predetermined applied power value. SOLUTION: In a superconducting quantum interference device(SQUID) assembling a heater, a SQUID 11 manufactured on a strontium titanate substrate is fixed onto a chip carrier 13 made of a glass epoxy, and a resistor 12 is fixed as a heater to a place separated at a predetermined distance from the SQUID 11. An allowable input power of the heater is 0.1 W, and is smaller allowable input power than a predetermined applied power. Thus, the heater can be made compact, and the overall apparatus can also be made compact.
