PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the size of distributed data and the property of a network at a distribution destination and to properly distribute the data by judging the distribution of specified data and distributing the data to a distribution destination specified by the judgement. SOLUTION: A distribution specification dialog 21 displays information on terminals in the network and information on common input/output devices connected to the terminals. A user indicates a desirable scanner 22 through this dialog to perform a current read-in process. An object which desires to be distributed is dragged and dropped on a distributing function support button 23 and the object is distributed to a desirable destination. In this case, A distribution destination in the network is specified, data to be distributed to the specified distribution destination are specified, and the distribution of the specified data is judged, so that the data are distributed to the specified distribution destination by the judgement.
