DIVERSITY RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a diversity gain from being reduced even when slow fading takes place in spite of a simple configuration. SOLUTION: An antenna changeover device 3 properly selects an antenna 1 or 2 and a demodulated output is obtained from a reception section 4 that can detect a received signal strength indicator RSSI of a received signal. The antenna is switched when the RSSI is lower than a switching threshold value. Since a threshold value generating means 52 selects the switching threshold value within a range of an upper limit and a lower limit depending on a value resulting from filtering the RSSI by a low pass filter 51, fluctuation in the switching threshold value can be suppressed on the occurrence of slow fading.
