PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oscillator stable in oscillation frequency by correcting an oscillation frequency due to temperature rise. SOLUTION: In this oscillator, a displacement member 8 large in coefficient of thermal expansion is provided on a cover 7, a grounded conductive member 7c is made opposed to a resonant line 2 and the position of the member 7c is displaced from the line 2 by the member 8 in accordance with temperature change. The drop of an oscillation frequency due to junction capacitances C3 and C4 is cancelled by displacing the member 7c by the member 8 and making the oscillation frequency high by stray capacitance C6, so that the oscillation frequency due to temperature rise can be corrected. Thus, the oscillator stable in oscillation frequency can be obtained.
