PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve attaching and detaching performance of a plug-in unit by providing fixing means for holding the plug-in unit by elastically deforming itself, so as to clamp the plug-in unit squeezed thereinto and facilitating its attaching and detaching operation, so as to prevent the fixing means from hardening over a long period of use by making the fixing means of metal. SOLUTION: In a plug-in unit fixing mechanism 10 for fixing a part of a plug-in unit 14 incorporated in an electronic device 12 to a chassis 16 of the device 12, a fixing means 22 is provided. The means 22 has a receiving part 18, which is biased by the unit 14 with the unit 14 abutting thereagainst in a direction perpendicular to the direction of its thickness and which elastically deforms both ends thereof, in a manner of coming closer to the unit 14 in response to the biasing force of the unit 14, and a pair of pinching parts 20, which is continuous to both ends of the part 18 and clamps the unit 14 by the elastic deformation of the part 18.
