PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial dilution/entire amount collection method while maintaining a pressure inside a micro dilution tunnel without deteriorating PM(particulate matter) measuring precision. SOLUTION: This collecting device contains an extracting pipe 3 extracting a part of exhaust gas, a diluting air source 5 generating air for dilution, a dilution tunnel 4 using the diluting air to dilute gas extracted at the extracting pipe 3, a control air source 15 generating air for control, a flow meter 11 detecting flow rate of extracted flow at the extracting pipe 3, and a controller 12, a control valve 14 and control nozzle 13 using the control air to control the flow rate of the extracted flow based on a detection result from the flow meter 11. Entire amount of diluted exhaust gas diluted at the dilution tunnel 4 is collected at a sample filter 8.
