PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance, for counter selling, which has a high advertising effect due to a message display on a customer-side display part and to provide a counter selling system. SOLUTION: This counter selling system is provided with a plurality of balances 1, 101, 201 for counter selling. In addition, the counter selling system is provided with a control part 20. The balances 1, 101, 201 for counter selling are provided with customer-side display parts 8, 108, 208 which perform a display to a customer. The control part 20 is provided with data on a plurality of messages. The control part 20 selects different messages so as to be displayed on the customer-side display parts at the mutually adjacent balances for counter selling.
