PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection tape for a buried pipe that can detect even a resin pipe by an electromagnetic detector, further can detect the pipe from the ground surface even if the pipe has been extended due to an earthquake and vibration, and has high extension following property and does not lose conductivity on extension by applying the tape to the pipe for burial. SOLUTION: The tape for detecting a buried pipe is a conductive sheet that is obtained by heating and pressurizing a paper material where the conductive base of the tape for detecting the buried pipe is made of a thermoplastic composite fiber consisting of at least two types of thermoplastic resins with different melt points and a conductive fiber in the tape for detecting the buried pipe for detecting the location of burial by applying the tape to the pipe being buried underground.
