PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating sound generating device for turn-indicating lamps having a sounding body driving circuit which has a simple and low cost constitution and obtains turn on and off operating sound of the lamps without providing a sense of incongruity to a driver. SOLUTION: Having received an input of turn-indication control signals s11, a sounding body driving circuit 12 generates driving signals s16 so as to generate turn on and off operating sound by pseudo hitting sound similar to the hitting sound of a mechanical relay, outputs the signals to a speaker 16 through an amplifier 14, and turn on off operating sound is outputted from the speaker 16. Thus, turn on and off operating sound is provided to a driver without giving a sense of incongruity to a driver. First and second synthesized signal generating circuits 20A and 20B of the circuit 12 time-sequentially generate plural rectangular signals having same amplitudes with different frequencies and generate first and second synthesized signals s14 and s15 as pseudo hitting sound. Moreover, a synthesized signal outputting circuit 22 alternatively outputs the signals s14 and s15 as driving signals s16 with a prescribed interval. Thus, turn on and off operating sound is obtained with a simple and low cost constitution.
