POINTER FOR POINTER INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discontinue the application of black paint to a cover member by elaborating the constitution of a pointer for a pointer instrument. SOLUTION: A pointer 6 is provided with a pointer main body 60 and a cover 5 comprising a cover inside member 51a and a cover outside member 51b. The pointer main body 60 is formed by extending a pointer part 62 from a rotation base part 64 supported at the tip part of the pointer shaft 61 of a pointer instrument. The cover inside member 51a is formed of a white resin material in such a way as to cover the pointer main body 60 from the side of its surface 62 and comprises a slit 511 formed along the longitude of the surface of the pointer main body 60. The cover outside member 51b is formed of a black resin material in such a way as to cover the cover inside member 51a from the outside and comprises a slit 511 corresponding to the slit 511.
