<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and improve practicability, generality, reliability and carrying capability. SOLUTION: A carrier car 12 is equipped with reaction plates 43, 44. The floor 10 of a carrying system S is so formed that gratings 14-16 equipped with guide trenches 11 and fixed segments 24, 25, 30-35, 38-41 and other gratings 17 are linked together. The carrier car 12 is driven by a linear motor M constituted of the reaction plates 43, 44 and the fixed segments 24, 25, 30-35, 38-41, and runs on the floor 10, along a track which is continuously formed by the guide trenches 11. A ground controller 51 applies a current selectively to the fixed segments 30-35 installed on the grating 15 for route switching, thereby controlling the carrier car 12 in the state of track switching or rectilinear traveling.</p> |
