PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor containment vessel of a reactor power generation plant for corresponding to increase in electric power, reducing the size of safely with a relatively easy manner and improving economy. SOLUTION: In a ferroconcrete reactor containment vessel of a boiling water reactor spatially separating an upper drywell surrounding a reactor pressure vessel 4 and a lower drywell 9, a sump and a sump pump special for the upper drywell are placed in the upper drywell and a sump and a sump pump special for the lower drywell are placed in the lower drywell.
