PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an input circuit which receives both the normal input and the Schmitt input and which reliably makes threshold voltage to a normal input enter within the maximum hysteresis error of a Schmitt input and. SOLUTION: This input circuit is provided with an inverter circuit 2 which receives an input signal, generates a normal input and outputs it, a latch circuit 6 which constitutes a Schmitt circuit 7 where a high voltage threshold and a low voltage threshold obtained on the basis of the threshold of the circuit 2 are set by being connected to the circuit 2 and generates a Schmitt signal and outputs it and a transmission gate 3 that can control conduction/non- conduction to control the connection and disconnection of the circuits 2 and 6.
