PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a metallic terminal and implement automatic insertion of the metallic terminal in an electronic component having an element put in a case, while being clamped by a metallic terminal. SOLUTION: In this electronic component, a metallic terminal 22, clamping an expanding vibrating element 29 between terminal plates 24, is inserted into a hole 27 of an inner case 23, whereby the plates 24 of the terminal 22 and the element 29 are interposed between elastic strips 28b of the case 23. The strips 28b of the case 23 are warped outwardly from each other. When the case 23 is put into an outer case 30 so as to deform the case 23, the element 29 is pinched resiliently between the plates 24 due to the force of repulsion of the strips 28b.
