PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely apply filter processing to a color (hue) within a range designated by a user by applying color correction processing to digital image data read from a storage medium and applying conversion processing of information relating to colors to the digital image data corresponding to the designated hue. SOLUTION: A color correction processing means 405 corrects colors of digital image data read from a storage medium by an image data read means 402, so that color scatter which depends on photographing conditions and the characteristics of a digital camera is eliminated. A filter processing means 406 applies filter processing designated by a user to the color-corrected digital image data by using a filter parameter obtained from a filter parameter interpreter means 404. A post-processing image data conversion means 408 converts the digital image data after being processed and stored in a post-processing image data storage means 407 into print data that are record processible data and then a recording means 409 (printer) records the print data.
