PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the image of an excellent image quality by suppressing the occurrence of density unevenness (irregularities) even in the case of a light halftone image or the like. SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image corresponding to each color on a photoreceptive drum 1 is developed with the toner of the respective colors such as cyan, magenta, yellow and black of respective developing units provided at a developing device 4, and the cyan (a) toner of a cyan color whose maximum reflection density is smaller than that of cyan toner and the magenta (a) toner of a magenta color whose maximum reflection density is smaller than that of magenta toner. Then, the same electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptive drum 1 is firstly developed with the cyan (a) toner and is developed with the cyan toner later as for the cyan toner and the cyan (a) toner, and also the same electrostatic latent image formed on the pbotoreceptive drum 1 is firstly developed with the magenta (a) toner and is developed with the magenta toner later as for the magenta toner and the magenta (a) toner. Thus, the image of the excellent image quality is obtained by suppressing the occurrence of the density unevenness (the irregularities) even in the case of the light halftone image or the like. |
