SOLUTION: A heater controller is equipped with the air/fuel ratio sensor 1 provided to the exhaust passage of an engine, the heater 4 for heating the air/fuel ratio sensor 1, heater control means 6, 10 controlling the power supplied to the heater 4 so that the air/fuel ratio sensor 1 becomes activating temp., a battery voltage detaction means 10 detecting the voltage of a battery 5 supplying power to the heater 4 and a power setting means 10 setting the power supplied to the heater 4 controlled on the basis of the voltage of the battery, which is detected by the battery voltage detection means 10, by the heater control means 6,10 from a predetermined period from the start of the supply of power to the heater in starting the engine. |
