<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design an electronic equipment which is small-sized and thin by providing a housing with an opening part where a connector is stored and holding the connector rotatably at the opening part. SOLUTION: When no PC card is mounted, an arm 18 is rotated counterclockwise about a shaft as an axis of rotation and then a PC card connection connector 3 is stored in the small-sized electronic equipment almost in parallel to the bottom surface of the housing. Further, a hole 12 is normally covered with a lid. When a PC card is mounted, the arm 18 is rotated clockwise by 90 deg. about the shaft and then the PC card connection connector 3 is moved out of the small-sized electronic equipment. Thus, the electronic equipment is equipped with the housing which contains, especially, electronic components and the connector 3 which is provided outside the housing and connects a card to electronic components, so the need for a space for mounting the card in the electronic equipment is eliminated to make the electronic equipment small-sized and thin.</p> |
