摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a matched shape and efficiently correct the positional deviation in a rotating direction of a displayed image by giving specific relation between each inner diameter in the horizontal axis direction and the vertical axis direction of a noncircular correction coil and the aspect ratio of a phosphor screen. SOLUTION: The positional deviation in the rotating direction on the tube axis of a display image is corrected by installing a nearly rectangular circular correction coil 29 having the maximum diameter between the horizontal and vertical axes in the same direction as the horizontal and vertical axes of a panel 20 on the outside of a yoke part 22 at the panel side opening end of a deflection yoke 28 formed in almost a specified rectangular shape in order to efficiently scan electron beams on a phosphor screen 25 having an aspect ratio of M:N on the inner surface of almost the rectangular panel 20. When the inner diameter in the horizontal axis direction is represented by LSA, the inner diameter in the vertical axis direction is represented by SSA, the maximum diameter between the horizontal and vertical axes is represented by DSA, the relation of M+N/2(M2+N2)1/2<LSA+SSA/2DSA<=0.95 is satisfied to form an adequate shape, and correcting efficiency is enhanced.
