摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at a relatively low cost, a simplified cooling structure, in particular, a structure for helium freezing and magnetic shielding, around a cavity body made of a superconducting material. SOLUTION: This superconducting high-frequency acceleration cavity is equipped with a cavity body 1 for accelerating a charged particle beam BE by high-frequency power, a vacuum container 10 for housing beam pipes 2a, 2b for inputting/outputting the beam BE into/out of the cavity body along a beam axis AX and housing an input coupler 4 for supplying high-frequency power into the cavity body 1, a liquid helium storage tank 11 disposed around the cavity body 1 within the vacuum container 10 and storing cryogenic helium capable of maintaining a superconducting state of the cavity body 1, a radiant heat shield 13 disposed around the liquid helium storage tank 11 in the vacuum container 10 and suppressing heat invasion from the exterior, and a magnetic shield 12 disposed around the liquid helium storage tank 11 in the vacuum container 10 and reducing the strength of a magnetic field in the cavity body 1. The magnetic shield 12 is made up in a dual manner of mutually independent first and second magnetic shields 12a, 12b, and the first magnetic shield 12a is integrally formed with the vacuum container 10, which the second magnetic shield 12b is disposed in a cryogenic part positioned near the liquid helium storage tank 11.
