PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an endoscope device by which a battery for exchange need not be looked for, and the battery is rapidly exchanged and used. SOLUTION: The connecting mouthpiece 15 of a lamp house 11 incorporating the light source lamp 9 of a battery type light source 3 is attachably/detachably attached to a light guide mouthpiece 8 provided on the operating part 6 of an endoscope 2, a battery case 13 incorporating the battery 12a is attachably/ detachably attached to the trailing end of the house 11, and a battery case 17 for exchange incorporating the battery 12b for exchange is attachably/ detachably attached to the part 6, so that the battery for exchange need not be looked for, and the case 17 is rapidly attached to the trailing end of the house 11 when the battery 12a of the case 13 is consumed; and the endoscope can be used for endoscopic inspection.
