PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the attachment of an arc shield to a supporting metal piece. SOLUTION: Contacts 2A and 2B to contact and separate to/from each other and an arc shield 4 surrounding the peripheries of the contacts 2A and 2B are stored in vacuum vessels 1A and 1B, and the arc shield 4 is brazed fast to a supporting metal piece 10 attached to the inner walls of the vessels 1A and 1B. In this vacuum value, the supporting metal piece 10 is equipped with resilience and is folded so as to press the arc shield 4.
