PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the center of gravity of a component-mounting head for mounting electronic component such as IC to a substrate and at the same time prevent the axial deviation of a suction nozzle. SOLUTION: A first rib 28 is provided integrally near the low end of a bracket 26 in a perpendicular direction at a part-mounting head 10, a spline shaft 14 is rotatably supported by the first rib 28 so that it can slide freely in the longitudinal direction of an axis, and at the same time a Z-axis motor 16 is supported by a second rib 30 which is provided near the upper portion of the first rib 28, thus preventing the axis deviation of a suction nozzle 12 being provided at the low end of the spline shaft 14 and lower the center of gravity of the component-mounting head 10. |
