<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the operation space for inserting and/or releasing a CPU module and to facilitate on-line mounting and maintenance operations by providing a flexible rib which is formed on a main wall integrally with a hold member and guides the CPU module in cooperation with a latch. SOLUTION: To insert the CPU module (SECC I CPU) 30 between holders 10 of a hold mechanism, the SECC I CPU 30 is directed toward a slot connector 20 along the hold mechanism, i.e., inserted as shown by the arrow to bring it into contact with the flexible rib 148. When the SECC I CPU 30 is pressed, the flexible rib 148 deforms and then moves by its own flexibility to outside the holders 10 around an elastic pivot 1481. After the SECC I CPU 30 is inserted to a prescribed position, a lock means 32 provided at its opposite upper part grips a positioning means 146 of the hold member 14 to stop the SECC I CPU 30 from moving up.</p> |
