PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overall judge whether a preserved running route of each vehicle to a destination is appropriate or not, based on road traffic information and reserved running route information of other vehicles. SOLUTION: The route reservation setting system comprises a CPU 12 in a VICS center for recording traffic conditions in a memory and a controller 19 carried on each vehicle 3 for transmitting information showing a reserved running route of own vehicle 3a to a destination through communicating part 15, etc. The CPU 12, when the communicating part 15 of the vehicle 3a transmits the reserved running route information, judges whether the transmitted reserved running route information is appropriate, based on traffic conditions recorded in a memory 11 and information showing determined reserved running routes of other vehicles than the vehicle 3a, records, if the reserved running route information is judged to be appropriate as the judging result, the reserved running route in the memory 11 as a determined reserved running route information of corresponding vehicle 3a, and transmits to the vehicle 3a information showing whether the reserved running route information is appropriate by judging. |
