CRT ASSEMBLY FOR PROJECTION TV

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CRT assembly for a projection TV, that can contribute to cost reduction and wherein no leakage of a coolant occurs. SOLUTION: This assembly is provided with: a CRT 50 on which an image is formed; a projection lens 60 for magnifying and projecting the image formed on the CRT 50; a coupler 70 installed between the CRT 50 and the projection lens 60; a coolant receiving part 71 which is formed in the middle part of the coupler 70, and of which front face is abutted on the projection lens 60 and sealed an rear face is abutted on the surface of the CRT 50 and sealed; a coolant injection hole 72 pierced through the side face of the coolant receiving part 71 for injecting the coolant into the coolant receiving part 71; and a pressure regulating means for regulating the pressure of the coolant in the coolant receiving part 71 while closing the coolant injection hole 72.
