PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reproduction processing unit that can continuous reproduce video/audio data stored on an optical disk with a sector structure. SOLUTION: This unit is configured with an address error detection means 6 that detects an address error, a data error detection means 5 that detects a data error, an error detection signal imbedding means 8 that imbeds an error detection signal to a header part of a video/audio pack, an error discrimination means 10 that discriminates presence of interpolation processing from the imbedded error detection signal, a video/audio decoding means 9 that decodes video/ audio data, and an error correction means 11 that conducts interpolation processing depending on a presence/absence signal of the interpolation processing.
