PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sparks from being scattered in a site welding work of steel members in steel work of a steel frame building, etc. SOLUTION: In a welding curing method of a steel member, curing jigs 2, 3, 4, 5 comprising a bottom surface part (a), an inclined surface part (b), a magnet 7 provided on the bottom surface part, and an asbestos sheet provided on the bottom surface part and the inclined surface part are mounted around a welded portion in the steel member to be welded, the welding sparks are received by the curing jigs, the welding sparks are trapped by the asbestos sheet 6, and prevented from being scattered.
