PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolating support device as a single part by reducing a cost while the device can be easily mounted in a short time with no troublesome screw tightening work required, in the vibration isolating support device connecting a support frame and a chassis of an optical recording and reproducing device. SOLUTION: This device comprises a damper 3 having elasticity interposed between a mounting part 1 in a support frame side and a mounting part 2 in a chassis side and a support body 6 positioning the damper 3. The support body 6 is provided with a shaft part 61, engaging part 62 fixed by only inserting to a mounting port 14 of the mounting part 1, and a brim part 63 holding the damper 3 interposed in cooperation with the mounting part 1. The damper 3 has hollow swollen parts 32, 33 and a hold part 34 for holding the mounting part 2. The support body 6 is formed by an integral molded unit of synthetic resin, or the damper and support body are formed by an integral molded body of rubber.
