PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a projecting portion of a spigot from being damaged when the spigot having the projecting portion on an outer circumferential into a socket to joint tubes with each other. SOLUTION: The jig for joining tubes with each other comprises a body portion 21 capable of passing in a spigot 9, and a resin sheet 15 provided on a tip of the body portion 21. The resin sheet 15 is arranged so as to be located outside an opening of the spigot 9 before the spigot 9 is inserted in a socket 2, the resin sheet covers the outer surface of the spigot 9 along an inner surface of the socket 2 when the spigot 9 is inserted in the socket 2, and the resin sheet is arranged along the inner surface of the socket 2 when the body portion 21 is passed in a tube 8 and drawn to the side opposite to the spigot 9 after the insertion of the spigot 9 in the socket 2 is completed.
