The cardboard tray has side (2) and end (3) walls formed by folding up portions of the base, the end walls having flaps(10) which hold the tray together. The side walls have reinforcing panels (6) which contact the end walls. The novelty is that the tray has a second reinforcing panel (11) which covers the base of the tray and is held in place by the flaps on the end walls. An Independent claim is included for a one-piece blank from which the tray can be produced by folding.
