PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacture of a optical transmission body array cutting a raw plate of an optical transmission body array into stripes in an easy way realizing an improved yield, thereby reducing the cost of the optical transmission body array. SOLUTION: A raw plate of an optical transmission body array 4 has such a structure that multiple rod-like optical transmission bodies are arranged in parallel as one or more layers between two base plate, and are fixed pinchedly with an adhesive. The raw plate of the optical transmission body array 4 is fixed on a flat panel, grooves 3 orthogonal to the axes of the rod-like optical transmission bodies are cut with a rotary blade 2 on the surface of the raw plate of the optical transmission body array 4, and the raw plate of the optical transmission body array 4 is cut and separated along these grooves 3 in a manufacture of the optical transmission body array 4. |
