PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a position and at the same time cope with the change in the configuration of a sensor by changing a driver by equipping an interface card for interfacing between each kind of sensor and a personal computer and providing a device control part for driving the interface card. SOLUTION: A personal computer 2 such as a notebook-type personal computer is provided with a driver 3 consisting of a serial port control part 3a for controlling a serial port 1a and a UPP control part 3b for controlling a UPP card 1b, a sensor processing part 4 for selecting a sensor signal to be used, adjusting the unit of data, and synchronizing asynchronous sensor data, and the like. The digital output of a GPS receiver 21, an optical fiber gyro 22, and the like is passed through the serial port 1a, the analog output of a vibration gyro 23, a speed regulator 24, a vehicle speed sensor 25, and the like is passed through the UPP card 1b and is inputted to the personal computer 2, thus obtaining a higher performance function than an exclusive navigator. |
