PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electrophotographic photoreceptor which attains high image quality, a long service life and high reliability on a high level and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent particularly in image quality reproducibility and excellent also in durability and photosensitivity. SOLUTION: At least an undercoat layer, an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer are successively formed on an electrically conductive substrate to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The thickness of the electric charge transferring layer is <=15μm and the undercoat layer comprises an inorganic material having <=1μm particle diameter, an inorganic material having a fibrous structure and a bonding resin.
