摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the azimuth angle survey device which places no large burden on a surveyor, hardly has adverse influence of circumferential vibration, and can determine the azimuth angle of a survey object point in a short time. SOLUTION: After the attitude of an azimuth angle detection part 1 is adjusted so that a reflecting body 6 is in a visual field nearby a line of collimation by operating a rotary mechanism part 3 and a rotary mechanism part 4, a diffusion light source 15 is turned on to emit diffused S-polarized light toward a polarization reflecting prism 12, the diffused light reflected by its reflecting surface is transmitted through a 1/4-wavelength plate 11 and reflected by the reflecting body 6, and its reflected light R is transmitted through the 1/4-wavelength plate 11 and the reflecting surface of the polarization reflecting prism 12, converged by an imaging lens 13, and imaged on a solid image pickup plate 14 and converted into a photodetection signal, which is converted into a digital video signal by an AD conversion part of an image processing part. An image processing arithmetic part calculates the isolation distance from the optical axis C of the imaging lens 13 from the imaging position coordinates of the reflected light R, calculates the angleαof deviation from the optical axis C of the reflected light R passing the center O of the imaging lens 13 according to the isolation distance, and further determines the altitude angle and horizontal angle of the reflecting body 6 on the absolute coordinate system.
